About

Born and raised in San Jose, Ca. and at 15 years old I moved to Cupertino, Ca.

I attended Mesa Jr. College in San Diego where I received my A.A. Degree in Fine Art then transferred to California State University, Long Beach where I received My B.A. Degree in Fine Art.

I returned to the Bay Area and begin working in graphic design and web design for a variety of companies and became most interested in user interaction design and usability studies.

There is an underlying need for me to figure out how things work and how I can improve them in some way.

It is a theme that has been constant throughout my life. From the time that I was a child, I loved to take things apart and examine the inner workings. My parents must have loved when they gave me a Christmas present and then a week later it was in pieces being assembled into some other contraption that I was working on.

My passion is inventing. From designing simple everyday gadgets to web applications that  people use in their every day lives, I feel a great deal of satisfaction from what I can give to other people.

Aside from inventing, I also like to escape into art. I have dabbled in most of the different mediums, but I’d have to say that Oil Painting and Sculpture are at the top of the list.

I also tinker in music occasionally. I played drums for about 15 years until I got tired of toting them around and traded them in for an acoustic guitar. It is much more portable and doesn’t offend the neighbors or the family as much.

As far as sports go, I am not the traditional American sports fan. I played soccer for many years growing up, played water polo in high school, but I really got hooked on Surfing and Snowboarding around the age of 16 and continue to do both whenever I can.
